They must be overjoyed knowing that they'll get another year out of the transmission on their truck, and finally discovering what it's like to sleep through a winter night.Barbarapchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09990013417063903768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9099706683992013607.post-48625972213409778022012-02-05T20:49:36.160-05:002012-02-05T20:49:36.160-05:00We are having a very bizarre winter aren't we?...We are having a very bizarre winter aren't we? As you point out, even when it does snow, it is gone by mid-afternoon. I have not noticed robins yet, but wonder if it is only a matter of time. I sure hope this means we are going to have an early spring to go along with the mild winter.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00116583212813729057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9099706683992013607.post-54534263428965282112012-02-05T12:40:49.040-05:002012-02-05T12:40:49.040-05:00Yeah -- this is crazy. Going out to do a more thorough poke about - and upon my return from Bart's walk will sit down with a cup of coffee and have a good look at TN.Barbarapchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09990013417063903768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9099706683992013607.post-57614121910975105522012-02-03T21:33:18.251-05:002012-02-03T21:33:18.251-05:00We're having a very mild winter here too. The soil is frozen in spots, while in other, the fall compost is still crumbly to the touch! Lots of buds on Helleborus, my Polemonium just refuses to sleep, and I too have given up with winter-kill worrying! Now, on to more pertinent matters, crack open that damned Terra Nova catalogue would you. I be needing someone to compare notes with! Cheers!Barryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11734807639763465706noreply@blogger.com
