Brrrrrrr -14C with the Windchill

Just a quick post today. Back from taking care of Mum - she's well and truly on the mend walking up and down the halls with the new knee - I'm sure it's only a matter of days until she has her buddies over for hopscotch.
We've been spoiled over the last couple of weeks. Back to reality today - winter coat, scarf and gloves. I stubbornly refuse to wear a hat - unless of course it's an Easter bonnet - which I don't have. Do you suppose anyone buys a hat for Easter?
I fear the little petallyfronds are frozen solid on the Hamamelis - I was too afraid to touch them in case they shattered. Framing of the photo a little off - Bart was spinning around me on his lead in hopes of catching squirrel Nutkins.
Must find some old photos to entertain everyone as it looks like it will be several more weeks until anything else is up and blooming in the garden this year..

We are having a real chill here too! In the teens tonight... but that is March for you. I hope your Mom continues to heal well! Stay warm. ;>)

It feels even colder after the glorious March we have had.

Cold and wind - not a good combination. Hopefully the flowers will thaw out and soon be back to normal. You must be pleased your mother is doing so well.

Oddly enough, Barbara it has turned chilly here in the Pacific Northwest too. After several weeks of unseasonably warm weather, it's definitely more like late winter now. Weather is so fickle.
