There's Been a Party in the Garden

It all must have started last night while I was on my walk with Bart.  We took a slightly different route and saw several gardens I'd never really noticed.  Like this one above.  Do you suppose the children who are visiting this orthodontist's office feel less pain after having walked past or through this garden?  Wonder how many of them notice?

At the lookout you can see just how low the water is on 16 Mile Creek even with the rain the night before.

I had no idea that while I was gone, my garden had started to party without me.  And such a party, they haven't even bothered to sleep.  Why the Verbascum 'Sugar Plum' had become friendly with the Hydrangea quercifolia and was brazenly leaning on him.

The Papaver orientale was wearing a lampshade.

The Lily Beetles had made themselves right at home not even waiting for an invitation.

Swinging to the left...Swinging to the right

The Digitalis gals were hollering something about putting a ring around it.

The Clematis 'Bourbon' was posing with some photo likeness she found in the garden for her Facebook page.  Oh dear, I'm counting petals and I'm thinking "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off".

Her sister wasn't much better, propped up smiling like a happy tart.

And Bart, well what can I say, he may have arrived to the party late, but looks like he caught up in record time.

Ooooh, this is just rich, Barbara! I loved your garden party, what a fun group you have, and Bart fit right in. Put a ring on it indeed! HA Well done! :-)

Yep. When the cat's away the mouse do play. At least they were responsible and got some growin' done while they're at it.

Bart looks like he's partying all right. To some dogs life is just one long party!

Barbara:
A right whimsical, humour laden party indeed. Has Bart recovered yet?

Love the orthodontist's garden, and Bart looks extremely happy. I need to whip our garden into shape. It's a bit of a disaster zone at present.

Gorgeous clematis!
